  so my jw father is sick.

  my mother uses the opportunity to try and preach to my 16 year old daughter.

  i simply told my mother to: "please refrain from trying to lure *my daughter* in with jehovah's witness questioning.

  Methinks something is afoot. Any scandals coming up in Mexico?

  English speaking exjws don't get out much ...so to speak! The scandals taking place in WT U.S.A world are duplicated in the Spanish speaking JW community.

  As an example...visit youtube.com channels under Testigos De Jehova and you'll find as much activity among exjws there as you do among English speaking channels. In fact you'll find some channels that put John Cedars/Loyd Evans to shame with hundreds of thousands of subscribers...millions of viewers and thousands of commenters.

  Yah...WT has it's scandalous behavior being blasted on the internet worldwide...Praise The Lord!

  I would nominate/recommend Mark O'Donnell AKA John Redwood...I think he has ties with the media/journalism industry...he's fair & objective.

  The only problem is that WT wants individuals "who sympathize with our work"! 🤣

  Is the door to door preaching work not the primary focus anymore?

  a few months back, one of my uncles who was an elder, asked the co, why jehovah would allow the door to door preaching work, to come to an abrupt end.

  this was when my uncle was starting to have serious doubts about the organization.. the co told him to be patient, and hang in there, because the governing body was on top of things and in time would explain what is happening regarding the preaching work.. my uncle asked; “what do you mean?”.

  co said; “focus on the wt study articles in the coming months” .

  The Jehovah’s Witnesses door to door preaching work has been for the last 15 years or more fruitless & unproductive. I've been in circuits that boast having upwards of 300 to 400 regular and auxiliary Pioneers...yet when it comes time for the baptismal talks at JW circuit assemblies the speaker finds himself talking to 1, 2, or 3 and sometimes zero baptismal candidates. It is rare that any of those getting baptized are outside adult converts...mainly just very young children of JW families. Circuits could have 1,000 Pioneers...that still would not improve productivity...the WT/JW cult message is not welcomed anywhere! This deadbeat JW parasite religion is a thing of the past...IMMHO!

  i’m reservations, pimo elder.

  i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?

  I would imagine there are a ton of JW elders reading this thread who are currently experiencing the same struggles & can relate to your predicament Reservations. The following advice from truth_b_known will benefit y'all:

  • Step down as an elder.
  • Stop giving any talks.
  • Stop commenting at the meetings.
  • Report the minimum amount of time possible.
  • Live your life as you want without getting disfellowshipped or reproved.

  Why wasn’t O’Donnell charged with receiving stolen goods.

  but with regard to those documents that were illegally stolen in that vice documentary.

  I believe this was the conversation that took place between the Palmer congregation elders where the child sexual abuse documents turned-up missing and WT Headquarters:

  Palmer Congregation Elders: "Hello WT legal...we thought you might want to know that a ton of secret files...many containing cases of child sexual abuse that we've handled over the years are missing and we think they've been stolen. Should we press charges against the perpetrator?"

  WT Legal Department: "How in the hell did that happen...didn't we give you instructions a while ago to destroy secret files and folders of that nature? No dammit...don't press charges...you might open-up a pandora's box & a can of worms of trouble for us here at Bethel! Sit tight...let's hope the police and the media don't find out!"
